I am going to start researching my dads side of the family, need to know where I originate from I know some are from Lancaster and Scotland (Glasgow I think) but where do I start, which is the best site, and why do they charge you loads to search for your family.

So if you know of any good and cheap sites let me know, or even know anything about the CLINTONS from Lancaster and Scotland please message me.
